Caitlin McClatchey of Scotland leaves the block in her 400m Heat.
Ahead of tonight’s Final, England’s Joanne Jackson has qualified fastest in the Women’s 400m Freestyle heats.
"My plan for tonight is to go out and enjoy. I will be pleased with anything that comes out of the race," said a relaxed Jackson.
Scotland’s gold medallist in the 200m Freestyle, Caitlain McClatchey, qualified second fastest, followed by Australia’s Bronte Barratt, who qualified third, and compatriot Kylie Palmer.
McClatchey is not to be underestimated - "I felt smooth in the water; I'm feeling a bit run down but I'm putting it aside for the (Finals) Race," she said.
Australian Linda Mackenzie, who was part of the gold-winning 4x200m Freestyle Relay team, qualified fifth fastest.
