her moment on the podium.
Michaela Breeze of Wales has set a new Commonwealth Games record on her way to winning the gold medal in the Women's 63kg Weightlifting competition.
Breeze had a combined total of 220kg, with Canada's Christine Girard capturing the silver (212kg). Her teammate Miel McGerrigle took bronze with a combined total of 190kg.
New Commonwealth Games records were set in the Snatch as the old mark of 87kg was repeatedly broken.
Girard was first to break it with her lift of 91kg. Breeze then raised the mark on all three of her attempts (95kg, 98kg and 100kg).
Gaelle Nayo Ketchchanke of Cameroon set a new national record with her snatch of 75kg.
